Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technologies, navigate with a keyboard, or prefer reduced motion. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, for our own site and for our clients.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. As an Ontario-based organization, we are also guided by the principles of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA): dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity.

What we've done

• Semantic page structure with landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
• A “Skip to main content” link and full keyboard access to navigation, menus and forms.
• Clearly visible focus indicators that don't rely on colour alone.
• Text and interface colours chosen to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Layouts that adapt to small screens and to text zoom up to at least 200%.
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields with visible labels, helpful instructions, an error summary that links to each problem, and messages that explain how to fix it.
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile devices.
• Animations that are brief and optional: if your device is set to reduce motion, we turn them off. No content depends on animation, and nothing moves continuously.

How we test

We check pages with automated accessibility tools and review them manually, including keyboard-only navigation, zoom and reflow, and reduced-motion settings. We treat accessibility issues as defects to be fixed, not enhancements.

Known limitations

Some links lead to external websites, such as Microsoft Learn, which we don't control and which may not meet the same standards. If you encounter a barrier anywhere on our site, we want to hear about it.
